Phase 2 Track Support Structure

The second stage involves cutting the wood and assembling the track framework structure.

Usually, the structure is composed of shaped plywood roadbeds supported by wooden pillars and blocks.

If you purchase a wooden KIT, these parts are already pre-cut and ready to be glued or secured with screws.

If you purchase our DIAP Service, we will provide you with the cutting layouts and guide you on how to assemble them.

Track Laying and Installation

During this phase, we also plan the installation of the tracks, even if provisionally. This minimizes the risk of mistakes and allows running test sessions with rolling stock on the most critical sections.

Completing this stage with Track Laying and Testing with Locomotives and Wagons is equivalent to ordering a “Pre-assembled and Operational Layout (Wood + Tracks)” from our online shop.
